Thanks for contributing @pocketechange, you know I read this post and every one you post to see if you have something new, a different prospective. I to have been posting, just trying to add some simple basics to the understanding of money, investing, and a few of my stash, which I do not like doing very often. Go DT, bring us some hope that the banksters will be jailed and real money will return to the forefront.
I'm so glad Donald Trump was elected... Since he's so hated by the Central Bank Owners, he became my Hero for sure... I trust that he's on the side of We The People... Since we're now holding the Trump Card... I'm sure we have the Winning Hand...
Of course I read this Post, just waiting for DT to pull the lever. Something must be done to 'reset' this ticking time-bomb economy. I know there are factions that are just hoping for a recession or worse to have something substantial to blame the prez for. In the mean-time, guess I better save up my change! Are dollar coins the best position for the reset? @ironshield
As per my theory, the Dollar Coins will be like having one of the current 100 Dollar "bills"...

I have plenty of One Dollar Coins... Many were tucked away before I came up with my P.C. Theory... It started in the early 70's with the Ike Dollars... I know I have at least a thousand of them...

I've been quite nearly obsessed reading and viewing podcasts on economic sky-is-falling (!) for nearly 5 years now. I no longer have the income to throw good $$$ after bad on 'precious' metals and find myself all but giving it way bit by bit to a local coin dealer. I am losing thousands so far, sadly. I speak from painful experience in telling people - if you choose to invest in silver, ONLY purchase new 1 oz Australian Silver Kookaburra dollars - they are the only item that significantly increased in value in my dwindling portfolio over the past five years. I have all but lost patience with the Mannarino's of the world professing imminent doom for years upon years and it never comes.
I actually see a better outcome heading our way... I've watched Gregory Mannarino... I haven't been into Stocks and Bonds for years, but he would mention the PM's.... I thought the same about having Gold and Silver, but I've been lucky enough to not have to cash anything in... It finally Dawned on me that an ounce of Gold after thousands of years still gets you a Suit of Clothing... So, where was the Profit... Gold stores Value, but it didn't Gain Value either... I admit that a profit can be made if you're able to buy low and sell high, but that's a Gamble...

I wish our POTUS would flip the switch to make America great again (it's already happening, but flipping the switch with the pocket change theory would definitely stop the central bankers).
I'm glad you were able to see what I'm sure our Founding Fathers saw... I'm sure they knew something like a Reset would someday need to be done...
I read this post. I read your posts a lot. I even read your comments on other posts. I agree something has to be done.
There are a lot of comments that you have made that made me rethink. One of your posts said that the intrinsic value of money needs to be less than the dollar amount. All along I thought that we needed to go back to Silver and Gold.
I'm ready for a reset. I have my pocket change ready, and silver, and property and other physical assets. I'm trying to cover all my bases.
My upvote keeps getting set to a lower amount ... I hope it stays this time.

Right! I don't know what will happen so just covering as many bases as possible to reduce risk.

From all the people I encounter, I figure, 99.9% of them wouldn't consider Common U.S. Coinage as the Best Possible Protection of their Wealth... And I understand that completely... No one gives Coinage a second thought...
