Platinum Wedding Strike on the Day 20th November 2017 is the rarest 2017 graded sovereign?
In November the royal mint minted a special strike on the day sovereign to celebrate the queen and prince philip's platinum wedding anniversary. It was the same physically to the Sapphire Sovereign of February 2017.
Only one first release graded coin and in fact only one graded coin is in the NGC population making this the rarest slabbed 2017 proof or BU sovereign.
Amazing how they have kept the back-side of the coin with the same design as the early 1900s, with their King George series.
