Unboxing of 2018 Wedge-Tailed Eagles!

Golden greetings and silver salutations! First off, I hope you ordered some of those Somali Elephant Coins from APMEX that I wrote about. They sold out in about a day and they are going for about a 75% premium on E-Bay (multiple sold listings).

Now to talk about the subject of today, the Australian 2018 Wedge Tailed Eagle! I do not order from Modern Coin Mart (MCM) often, as I find their prices are bit higher than APMEX and JMB. But, every once in while, they have an exclusive that I would like. Also, MCM has one thing going for it, that no other dealer (that I am aware of) does. Free shipping on all purchases! So let's look at this beauty:

This is the first Wedge Tailed Eagle to feature more than one bird, it has a full family. The Perth Mint has stated this is a one year design, unlike the design that has been used the last couple of years. The mintage amount on these has not been released. I can only speculate what it is, but just based on the fact that I am only seeing them at MCM, I would guess it is going to be lower than the Kookaburras and Koalas. They are $25, so they command a bit of a premium, but its not too terrible of one.
