Sunday Coin Show Looting
I love going to coin shows, but with the new baby, I just haven't been able to carve out the time away on the weekends to justify going. Finally my Stackitis had hit a fever pitch and I just had to go. I woke up and decided to force my wife and one of the boys to get into the car and go.
It was a fairly small show...about 35 dealers in a VFW hall. I will say that I've been noticing for awhile now that the crowds at these shows isn't getting any younger. I'm in my 40's and the average age in the room drooped by 1 or 2 years when I came in the door. This is a bit concerning on many levels. Having said that, bringing our youngest son to the event was fun. He was amazed at all of the gold he saw there.
I managed to loot a few pieces for everyone as well. My son wanted this colorized Silver Eagle so I picked it up for him.
My significantly better half loves fractional gold coins so she got a surprise in the car after we left he he he :-)
Our youngest daughter is just a few months old, but she is now the proud owner of a 2018 Panda as her first coin...Stack'n before she can walk, my poor girl doesn't stand a chance at outrunning the Stackitis.
And I've got a certain passion for the pre-1933 Amercian $10 Indians and I didn't have a 1911, so I picked this one up for $10 over spot!
Overall, pretty much a perfect Sunday!!!

Holy moly! Coin show out here (Vancouver) are few and far between! I’m prolly better off ‘cause my stackitus is pretty bad. Lol
A very pleasant Sunday ! A small stroll indoors and a very happy family. Does anyone know what is happening with Stax ? It stopped visiting us...
There's some discussions ongoing with what is going to happen with Staxx and how the bot should be managed...these things happen and are healthy...I think we are having a group chat on Friday at some point...it will work itself out.
coin shows are great! the Indian head is awesome and at $10 over spot, you can't afford not to buy it! lol. good job getting your kids in he game as well!

Yup, I got it bad!
With stamps shows here the average age is above 80. No youth anymore. With modern gold and silver we luckily have plenty future buyers !
I've never understood stamp collecting but different strokes for different folks I guess. Silver and Gold are universal

The $10 Indian and 24k Gold Buffalo are beautiful coins and among my favorites.
