Would the Founding Fathers Like Cryptos and be PM Stackers?
Sometimes I wonder if the founding fathers of America woke up today and saw the current state of the monetary system if they would be in shock. If they were to wake up today and be told that the nation is in 20.632 trillion in debt and 112 trillion in debt with unfunded liabilities if they would even believe it. And then to tell them that all money is fiat and not backed by anything, yes not even gold and silver.
I don't think this the world they intended.
I'm sure they would be fans of gold and silver. However, I also wonder if you had time to describe current technologies and crypto currencies if they would fans. Part of me thinks they would be.

Well I can't say they could even fathom cryptos or much of anything in this world now but the US government has turned into something unrecognizable as compared to 200+ years ago. Power was meant to be mostly left at the state and local level. Now we have this monstrosity with its tentacles in every facet of our lives and there's nothing we can do about it because most people are too blind and / or complacent to see the truth of it all (how corrupt the system has become and how federal power is abused and pushed far past what the Constitution and the founders intended).
I think if we didn't have the second amendment, which is constantly under scrutiny by the powers that be, things would be even worse. It's in that document for 2 reasons--self protection from bad people but more importantly it is for protection from a tyrannical government which the founders had just escaped from.
As far as precious metals go, I think they'd be big fans and they'd be disgusted with what has been done to the dollar since the gold standard was abandoned.

They would oppose the current system. We should have a balanced budget and much less socialism. The founding fathers would help lead the rebellion against this insanity supported buy the ignorant sheeple.
