Box 3 from mystery coin collection revealed.
Here is the final installment of Coin Picking Canada featuring none other than @edthecanadian! My last 2 blogs have been sorting through a coin collection that is being offered to me for sale. Part one and Part two. This last box contains mostly proof Canadian dollars in their presentation box's.
The ones with red lining in the cases are not silver, just plain old nickel.
The one on the left is 50% silver and the other nickel. The left one is bigger.
These proof dollars are all 50% silver. They're a tough sale.
I've never seen one of these in silver and with it's original case. It is 92.5% or sterling silver.
3 more plain old nickel dollars worth about a dollar each.
Here's the beauty stuff, junk dimes! Quite a few '67's and '68's though.
And some stamps. I'm not really up on my stamp info, Dave any input?
Now I just need to negotiate a price and then figgure out a way to pay for it. Maybe my offer will offend them I don't know?
What is Ed doing tomorow? Cooking a farm fresh lamb roast from @tanglebranch acres.
As always all photos are mine all mine! Taken with my trusty old Samsung Galaxy S6.
There are a lot of interesting pieces in the pictures. Hopefully, you will be able to get a good deal for them.
Illustrated meat packing, nice touch! My butcher does not draw me pictures... slacker! Nice metal porn, too!
Haha this is the first package I've ever had with a picturd too.
Funny pic at the end. :)
Regarding the stamps: you could peddle the Nazi stamps to the alt-right.
There sure is a market for the nazi stuff. This reminds me of a '63 chev truck that I replaced the engine in years ago, upon cleaning the grime off the transmission there was a big blue swastika painted on it.
Do you have to buy it or can you refuse politely still ? It will be very hard to resell quickly.
I dont have to buy it, so far I am their second opinion and I feel very fair with my numbers. As for quick sell-slow and steady wins the race.
Awesome...I am so inspired! Great collection in store! Cheers!
Go buy some silver🛒
yeah!!! :)
You are selling the collection in an auction, directly to private collectors or to Kitco?
I'm considering buying the whole lot, but there are some items I'm not interested in. Selling to kitco would probally be throwing money away.
@edthecanadian Even if they don't like your offer for the coins, that's OK stick to your guns. You know what you think they are worth to you.
Lolol I didn't draw that picture, honest!!
