Did you get an email like this today?
We have received several of these and are curious what you all think about the dealers attempt to game the system? And did any of you purchase these to flip?
Do You Want To Make $75?
Tomorrow at 12PM Noon EST: Turn 5 Minutes Into $75 Profit!
CORRECTION: This special offer is available to sell back to us until 1 PM EST, NOT 11:59 PM EST as previously stated. We apologize for the confusion.
Dear Precious Metals Investor,
Today at 12:00 Noon EST, the United States Mint will begin selling an Apollo 11 50th Anniversary 2019 Five Ounce Proof Silver Dollar coin on its web site. The coin is being sold for $224.95 each with a household limit of five (5) coins. The household total for five coins is $1,124.75. We need a large quantity of these coins and are willing to pay over the U.S. Mint price to get them.
We can pay you $75.25 over the U.S. Mint price for five coins, or $1,200 per five coin household limit.
Simply purchase the coins from the U.S. Mint here and ship it to Monument Metals (at our expense) once it arrives. As soon as we receive the coins, we will immediately send you an electronic check via email. Plus, we’ll cover the cost of shipping and insurance!
Here's all you need to do:
Buy five (5) of these coins from the U.S. Mint. You can order five (5) coins per household starting at 12PM EST today, January 24th. Click here to visit the U.S. Mint website.
Once your order has been placed, click on this link and fill out the form completely. This link is currently not accepting submissions, but will activate when the U.S. Mint begins accepting orders at 12PM EST on January 24th. Filling this form out completely and submitting it will lock in your $75/5 coin profit. You will receive a confirmation email after successfully completing and submitting the form.
Shortly before your coin is due to arrive, we will email you a link to download/print a prepaid USPS shipping label for your coin. This label covers the cost of shipping and insurance.
Upon receipt of the coin we will send you payment by electronic check immediately.
Questions you may have:
Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Monument Metals has a large number of customers for these coins. Due to the U.S. Mint's limit of five coins per household, we can only get a sufficient number of coins with your help.
Q: How do I ship the coins to you?
A: We will send you a link to download and print a prepaid shipping label. All you need to do is place the prepaid label on the box you received the coins in and ship it out to us via USPS.
Q: How will I get paid?
A: We will issue an electronic check via email immediately upon receipt of your coins.
Q: Will you buy less than five (5) coins?
The $75 offer only makes sense for us if we are able to buy from you in a five (5) coin household lot. Smaller quantities per customer are not eligible for the special offer pricing.
Q: How many do you need?
A: We need a large quantity of coins. You can tell your family and friends about this offer; we’re happy to buy their coins and pay them a profit too!
Q: How long is this offer good for?
A: You can lock in with us until 1:00 PM EST on 1/24/19. All participants must use the web form (link here).
Q: If the U.S. Mint offers expedited shipping, should I select that option?
A: Yes, we recommend doing this. We will reimburse you for the expedited shipping if you choose this option.
Q: Do I need to send you the original government packaging (OGP)?
A: Yes.
Q: What’s the catch?
A: There is no catch. We need a large number of these coins, and the U.S. Mint’s household limit makes it difficult for us to buy them. This is why we're offering a profit over Mint cost.
Q: Is this a real offer?
A: Yes. You're welcome to email us at [email protected] or call us at 800-974-3121 to verify this offer.
Q: What’s the U.S. Mint's definition of "household?"
A: Our understanding is that a household is defined as an address. Orders with different names shipped to the same address may very well be cancelled by the Mint.
Q: What are these coins really worth, or what will they be worth in the future?
A: There’s no way to know for sure. For coins like this, demand often starts out strong but cools down quickly. If you lock in your order and the value drops, your $75/5 coin profit is still guaranteed.
Q: If I commit the coins to you, do I have to sell them to you?
A: Yes, this is a binding agreement for both parties. When we lock in with you, we’re also locking in with our customers. We expect all coins committed to us will be delivered to us promptly upon receipt.
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
I've seen them do this before. More than likely the coin value will shoot thru the roof. They did it with the Platinum Eagle coins. They doubled in price overnight. It may be wise to just pick up some of these coins and sell them yourself and make some cash.

Yes, emails like these come from bullion dealers who speculate on the appreciation of the coins. Provident does it as well as others.
