So I have finally taken the plunge with my first post to Steemit and #steemsilvergold.

I live in the U.K. and have been stacking the shiny stuff for nearly three years now. I started stacking because of @tremendospercy. He spoke to me for a long time about the real economics of the world and got me to watch a few related YouTube videos. The main ones being the Hidden Secrets of Money series by Mike Maloney, once watched I realised what a massive con job the Governments of the world were perpetrating.

My wife then watched them and from that point there was no turning back, we cashed in all of our tax free savings plans and started stacking.

To keep up to date with what is really going on I regularly watch and listen to @dollarvigilante @jsnip4 @marketreport @shtreport @roguemoney @x22report USAWatchdog, Cliff High, Gerald Celente and all of their related guests to many to mention. Thanks to all of them for educating me.

I have also diversified into gold and silver mining shares (junior shares) , crypto : holding Bitcoin, Ethereum and a few others and we have a Goldmoney account and as well. We are in it for the long hall so do not trade on a daily basis.

We have a few gold Britannias of varying weights but mainly buy silver Britannias as there is no tax to pay on these when selling them, yet! Silvertogo.com is my preferred choice of where to buy silver as it is VAT free but there is a delivery charge. If you are buying a few then it is cheaper to get them from this site, they are based in Germany.

We have collected a few other coins from differing world mints as the picture below shows, I think my favourites are the Star Trek ones.

Lastly thanks again to @tremendospercy, without you I would not be awake.

I see you have a good variety of coins there. Do you purchase any of these based on potential collector value or purely from gold/silver content value? I'm interested in getting into gold coins in the future.

i mainly buy gold and silver coins as an investment, hopefully to sell when the price goes skyward! Haven't looked at the collector side of things, I have started to buy different silver coins that I like the look of and the mintage is fairly low, they only made 50000 of the Cayman Island Marlin , 100000 for the Isle of Man coin. I like to buy pure gold and silver but have bought some half sovereigns that are slightly less pure. I mainly buy British minted coins though so I don't have to pay capital gains tax when I come to sell them.

Hey Hey Sexual Chocolate posting the stack. NICE.
Glad to have you here buddy.
Upvoted and resteemed dude.

Hey there stackers, check out some fresh pics of the shiny @thedamus

I am loving all your posts! This place is great :)

Great to be a part of the stacker community.
Stack on friends.

welcome to #steemsilvergold I am in Mexico and I mostly stack/collect Mexican numismatics. Following and a vote up.

Thank you, I have thought about getting Mexican coins, maybe I should get one in my next purchase. You to have been followed.

cool, do your research on ebay on past sold items to see what they usually go for. Also check out Numista.com for info and rarity.

Cheers, I shall do that.

Welcome to @steemsilvergold @ckz the only problem I have with your first post is I don't see any of our awesome Aussie coins in your photo. Lol good to have you here my friend. Cheers

Thanks, have got a couple of stacks of kookaburras and Koalas, hidden in the house, awesome looking coins. They are all taped up so I didnt get them out on this occasion. Perth mint makes awesome coins, wish the British mint did some better ones they are all a bit boring! Followed

Upped! Welcome to Steemit. Good to see more stackers on here, the community for stackers will continue to grow. Keep it up!

Thanks dude followed.

Welcome @ckz; nice little stack; I do like the 2oz Beasts especially the 2016 original; it is likely to worth the most. Look after them and hopefully they will look after you in the future. Keep stacking!!

Thanks, started following you yesterday.

Nice post. I become "awake" a bit earlier than you! When gold and silver get going it's awesome. 2002-2008 were great years. The current doldrums in the market won't last much longer IMHO

Hope so, coz I want to quit work! Followed dude.

welcome. fellow stacker and crypto guy here from sweden.
upvote and follow

Nice first post @ckz - setting a good standard - like the silver collection - good to get coins from multiple mints and hold them for the long term. Keep collecting and posting my friend.

Thank you, I shall.
