I have to go back when this whole steemsilvergold started with just a few of us.
I saw a tag and an introduction to join a group of people who have the same interest, Silver and Gold and talk about steem.
Share thoughts about it, pics of recent finds, also thought it to be a great idea when I saw some people doing contest and give always of silver.
The idea was to get a group of people to post pictures or tags of interest, one in which we could upvote each other and grow.
But this bot came out, people were becoming their own group within a group, and those who did not or could not contribute sbd could join in on the bot.
Sure people would see someone post a pick of a silver bar they bought, or in my case I posted a few that I was able to buy but, I didn’t receive hardly any Upvotes so I gave up.
I still enjoy the community and upvote those who actually post silver or gold content.
I admit I have been absent for a bit due to work and other responsibilities that limit my time.
I don’t know what all went down, just heard about this whole thing and the bot is done.
I’m not looking for blaming anyone, I believe a lot of people were chased off steemsilvergold due to the pay to play style community it turned into.
How about we just do what it was originally intended for.
Post article about Silver or Gold pics of a great find or just a new one, and everyone part of the community can up vote what they like.
I have to get to work.... running late trying to type this up, just felt I had to respond because things really did get out of hand and the original idea of a group with similar interest posting content turned into, as I saw it, pay to play.
