Yuck! — It Never Should’a Come to This

Good morning friends,

And a somber one it is for this tag. I have volunteered to write this post after speaking it over with several veterans of the tag and one very prominent somewhat new-comer. It is not in my habit, nor in my usual modus operandi, to name names. But in this particular case transparency is key, so, i have been given permission by some of my fellow members to speak our mind.

Before i say anything else however, i wish to defend myself against claims that i am a bully, or a liar, or that i should be ashamed of myself.

The only thing i half agree with @scrooger on is that it was a personal attack. Because it was personal, but it wasn’t an attack. Andit had to be personal as it was directed at one person. But I have no secret vendetta against Phil, nor did i mug him — he’s had days to figure this shit out. He appears to be a very dedicated father, he’s employed at a good job, and he has a wife and friends and all kinds of interesting projects going on if you’re into precious metals. So yes, I will admit to a few ad hominems, and really, i don’t even know if he has a sister... but i was pissed off ‘cause i feel like i’ve just been robbed! So i’m sorry if I was out of line.

I would urge you to read @scroogers attack on me, lol — he called me a bully! (Sniff...) — because he does make some relevant points regarding how many bots are run and owned. (It’s in a comment in the “Stax is Dead...”) post. But Stax truly was like no other. He’s probably a great guy, so it’s a shame he thinks so little of me, my photography and my potty mouth...

In fact, i know very little about the inner workings of things like upvote bots — i’m a fucking geezer for fuck’s sake! — but i do know a thing or two about a thing or two.

Please allow me to introduce Stax!!!

You will notice above there is no clarification of who ultimately owns the bot, but those were exciting times, and no one was thinking about anything other than we had a vote bot that was our community bot and that it was an altruistic machine we were building, each with what we could offer, but for the benefit of all.

We were changing the fucking world!!!

And now where are we? Sabotaged by the very object of our trust and affection. It stinks. What stinks, in my opinion alone perhaps, is that given everything that has gone down, phelimint was unwilling to just either power it all up, or use any residual “estimated value” to buy more sp, or whatever. He has already stated that he never forsaw the account becoming so large so fast, and also that he’s not cashing out. But none of that hardly matters. What matters, is that phil has claimed ownership of the ultimate value of the account under misleading and fradulent behaviour.

You just can’t present an “our” and an “us” and a “we” to investors, and then call it a “mine” when it pays out. That is called fraud.

So one of two things must have happened.

1. Phil always believed that it was ultimately his, and shrewdly left that one, particular spurious fact out of any and all correspondance, and thus actively deceived us.

Or,

Two, At some time since Stax was sparked up phelimint had a change of heart, embraced the dark side, and kept hush on his new personal allegiance.

Either way, there is absolutely nothing about honest community, nor mutually beneficial commerce going on in either scenario.

Let’s see that quote again shall we:

I just don’t get it Phil. Why? You were already amply rewarded and celebrated as the Wizard of Stax, and you had (or maybe still do) a growing customer base for your silver business, and a bunch of fun-loving asskickers and silver stackers to hang with. And you fucking blew it.

Maybe you should do more of that. Ugh...sigh...It now feels very unpleasant to me, downright corny even! But i am going to continue with the current task at hand because i said inwould —although damus-time does look appealing to me right now.

I, personally and genuinely, wish no ill will towards you, but your just not fucking welcome around #steemsilvergold anymore as far as we’re concerned.

Here’s the corny part. It’s a vote, so please have your say if you are a member of ssg, or, decide reticence is the best course of action and remain silent. Also, i am not trying to start a flag war or any other kind of hostility, i’m just acting in what myself and a few other above, and perhaps a few more below, believe is in the best interests of this Community

If ever it was yours Phil, then why were we paying you?

That^ was largely in part because Ray sent 60 and i sent 100 sbd to upvote bots to ring in the new year with Stax in style — ya play the guitar on the MTV!

Now depending on the result of the vote below, of course no one can stop you from posting anywhere you like, but I would urge you to really think about what it means to belong within a group.
