Steemit Goldbugs - Guess the Gold price on Market closing next Friday, May the 25th / Results of the previous round
Welcome to "Guess the Gold Price"!
Against the growing uncertainty in regard of geo-political developments (middle east, north korea), gold did loose more ground again during the week. Also the rising interest rate in the US and the stronger US dollar may have played into that.
As a result the gold price dropped significantly below the 1300 line, something none of the participants in our little game forecasted.
So the winner of the previous game for Friday the 18th is:

and his oracle cat, with their vague guess (+7.50) of $US 1300.-
The actual gold price on Friday evening was: $US 1292.50

A tipp: check out my blog (and that of @irrer-ivan) around tuesday, then the posts should be out - and you may also get a hint what direction the prices are taking. Although, thats really difficult to predict.
