Fine Silver
Ever since I found this one I was a fan of it. I know it is kind of on the common side but it was one of my favorites. It came from my local silver place. Also it was definitely in the cheap generic Oz box. Which is honestly the only box I usually look through.
I've only recently started buying specialty rounds and bars. Before I was strictly about stacking that silver as high as I could for as cheap as I could. More recently I've just added some pieces that were significantly more than spot. At the same time they are very cool. I've shared some but more to come soon!
So what kind do you like?
Silvertowne prospectors, now those are classics! I remember picking those up at the LCS loose silver pile back in the day! Not much appreciation for them, but I certainly loved them!
@armshippie It is all about the OUNCES. Yes I enjoy the Specialty pieces too, but in the Long Run it can all be Melted. Just ask The Lady of The Bunker !
The aesthetic enjoyment and outright value of collecting ought not to be overlooked. I would never argue against seeious ounce augmentation. But there are serious gains to be made with specific knowledge.
😁👍
I definitely would agree with that. I have my "collector" coins. If there's ever a time I just needed to sell at spot value I would keep them and sell my generics
I agree man and I have always wanted to melt some down.
I wanna pour my own this year!
5oz of SML’s poured into a blob of something...
I like the "prospector and horse carrying home the nuggets" theme with this product....go get ya some...........
I agree, when I started out I stacked as much as I could as close to spot as possible. The stack got to a size I was comfortable with. That is when I started to diversify my stack a little. I started to add low mintage coins and poured bars. I love the poured bars so much I decided to become a silversmith. Now I’m buying spot silver to melt into silver artwork. It’s a cool to go full circle. 👍🏼🍺🥓
