No, FRANK was never a "nice guy," but he never seemed quite as cruel as @berniesanders or the pre-enlightened @haejin. Those two would far better fit the description of "cold-blooded"--literally and metaphorically. ~AlienatingPredation - 2 years ago

BACON is the classic flawed hero. Even in ancient Greek plays Hercules was such a flawed hero. I have both disliked and loved BACON in the coarse of Benjamin 5, and yes in the end he is a pitiful character. A causality of his love for his planet and it's people, of circumstances, and his own bad choices. Some of the most heroic, funniest, and most tragic scenes of Benjamin 5 involve him. At his best he is wise and courageous, and at his worst he foolish and petty. Well done thank you FRANK BACON ~TheBelegur - 5 years ago

The political cartoonists of **Benjamin 5** have teamed up for a new animated series that strikes at the heart of our present-day dystopia.

Benjamin 5 is a sworn OTHERhood ... who patrol the WATCH. The individual members or 'OTHERS of the Watch' reject land and titles, practice celibacy, cut ties to their families, assume neutrality in politics, and never desert their assignments, on pain of death. Joining the 5 is still considered an honor because any ONE can rise through the ranks regardless of illegitimacy or criminal past, but in the first BOOK, the 5 is severely undermanned. The 5 is based at CHAPEL PERILOUS, where the Lord Commander of the 5 resides and new recruits are trained.

Wildlings, also called Free Folk, are people who live beyond the WATCH. They live in independent villages and have no central government. Bands of wildlings often cross the WATCH for plunder. In A PERFECT STORM, the wildlings unite ... and invade the Kingdoms to escape the return of The Others. With the help of Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff, they settle in the North. Many move into the abandoned CHAPELS to defend the WATCH.
