zhu' Movie Review：Hitman(2007) A Video Game Based Movie
Most of the films adapted from the game are boring. The characters are flat and the plot is simple and childish. Compared to the game itself, the movie is much more humdrum . However, these are not problems in the game, because the audience is the protagonist. Once turned into a bystander, it is inevitable to lose the sense of substitution. Moreover, today's games are getting bigger and bigger, and the two-hour movie is inevitably lost a lot of plots. It is inevitable that many of the game fans will be lost. Therefore, it is not easy to adapt the game to the big screen.

The reason why "Hitman" attracted me is Robert Knepper, and Timothy Olyphant in “Live Free or Die Hard (2007)”. Both of them performed well in this film. Although there is no facial expression on Timothy Olyphant from the beginning to the end, there is still a lot of energy. By the way, Olga Kurylenko is very beautiful, although she performed more like a brainless slut in all time.

The story is actually very simple, but it combines a lot of blockbuster elements: dark heroes with hands on blood, fallen angels, huge hidden and pervasive "organizations", and Jason Bourne-style self-awakening and redemption. Although Director Xavier Gens is not so famous in the market, it is not bad, and the techniques are very good. This film is filmed as a typical Hollywood action film. It is nice. Speaking of it, the movie is quite similar to Clive Owen's "Shoot ‘Em Up(2007)". All is all, as a game adaptation, it's not bad, but not good enough.
