Introduction


As a quick introduction, we would like to announce the formation of SteemXP as a South East Asia curation guild where we would be thriving to promote the usage of Steem Blockchain across South East Asia. Our focus is towards new authors and we would be providing the assistance and guidance to help them obtain a great experience the Steem blockchain .

The People behind SteemXP initiatives are @danieldoughty ( lead ) and @bitrocker2020 in support of @myach ( Malaysian Accelerator Hub ) . As the guild grows, we would be announcing more members as part of SteemXP to be Chapter Managers .

Vision


SteemXP vision is to be the key influencer in Southeast Asia that creates a mass migration of communities and social media users towards adopting the use of Steem Coin and Steem Blockchain Applications.

 

Mission

  • Empowering local champions to build communities, engaged the public, promote adoption of steem coin and to experience the power of steem blockchain at every city in Southeast Asia
  • Educating Southeast Asia communities about the variety of steem application and its value for personal growth, income generation, business application and social change.
  • To create a better understanding of blockchain tech and its applications, through organizing educational meetups and events
  • Established a guild that promotes shared economy on steem blockchain
 

Our plans

  • Organise a yearly community-based event for greater networking experience between communities that come from all walks of life.
  • To feature best independent shared articles on steemit blockchain that highlight the abundance opportunity and diversity of talents, creativity and stories found in Southeast Asia through a dedicated community-based content website that runs on steem blockchain
  • To educate and increase the number of business owners and services in Southeast Asia to accept steem as form of payment
 


As a summary, SteemXP will promote active collaboration and help accelerate the economic growth, social progress and cultural exchange in Southeast Asia region through the power of steem blockchain and the used of steem applications

    Hello steemxp! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
