Daewung-Jeon Hall in Chiljangsa Temple. Anseong City
Daewung-jeon is the main architecture in Buddhist temple.
All of the buildings and the structures are used to be arranged considering the location of Daewung-Jeon Hall.
Daewung-jeon hall was the center of this temple.
I'd like to share some photos of this building.
The style of the architecture made me think of Sudeoksa temple which was believed one of the architectures constructed in Goryeo dynasty.
Of course, according to the record, this temple had been built during Goryeo dynasty, even though having been destroyed in the period of the Japanese invasion of 16century

Great to see and explore the best of there though your posts
That is a real treasure such historical perl. If the building was really erected in Goryeo dynasty and still in such great condition that only can gives us an idea how good quality everything was, how much attention to the structure and preservation was given to the projects in the past. No wonder that people like to capture the moment of being there on their photographs. Lovely purple-violet flowers :)
