My Own SMT

What comes to your mind when someone asks you: What would you do if you could make your own Smart Media? many would be left blank, others would be many ideas, well, ideas come to me too, and thanks to the @sndbox team and @utopian-io I can share the best idea that came to mind.

What is SMT (Smart Media Tokens)?

According to the official website of Steemit "is a digital asset native to Steem's blockchain",anyone can create and use it to support users and monetize content online, It is a very eye-catching project with a great future, so that each person who wishes can create their own cryptocurrency (Yes, your own crypto) and can be incorporated into forums, web pages with widgets, etc ... It is expected to be incorporated in March 2019, without more than explaining I leave the official Whitepaper

My Token

All Token exists and to exist must have a name, so my token will be called VIRL, this name come from the word "VIRAL", I just gave it a little unique touch so it does not have the same name. The token could be integrated into any forum, widget and any method that meets the requirements.

My token could help platforms, forums and more, to reward good content and the author of that content, could help separate the content of "spam" or "low quality" with the "good quality”, ayudando a viralizar a estos autores y llevándolos a tendencia si son muy buenos en lo que hacen. Some of the problems that could be addressed are: the content of undervalued quality, the 100% income of the company and 0% to the author of the content, distinguishing the "spam" or "low quality content" with the one that is worth it, etc...

It can help pretty communities, all the communities of the forums, and the content can be of all kinds, to the kitchen, to tutorials, to blogs, since, whatever is contained, is accepted (as long as the norm with the norms of the platform).

How would my SMT work?

We want the community to support each other, so to avoid that people can exceed and get much more out of the token than it should, we would grant a number of tokens to each user that can use weekly, you can not vote the own content or redeeming the obtained tokens, these will be used to support the different people that each one believes deserves their support, the people who help the other members giving them support with their weekly tokens, will receive prizes from tokens that they can use

It is a basic and simple operation that can be quite effective, making users support the community so that they can also be benefited

Thank you for participating in @sndbox's challenge in association with Utopian.

I must admit, I found this entry disappointing. We've had some great responses to this challenge, and one of the things that has made them great was specificity. Your idea is, well, it's entirely generic. It targets no specific community, and brings no significant value beyond a possibly catchy name. I would urge you to look at some of the responses to the original challenge to see what people have been bringing to the table.

The post also had some serious issues in terms of style, grammar, and proofreading. For instance:

  • "We want the community to support each other, so to avoid that people can exceed and get much more out of the token than it should, we would grant a number of tokens to each user that can use weekly, you can not vote the own content or redeeming the obtained tokens, these will be used to support the different people that each one believes deserves their support, the people who help the other members giving them support with their weekly tokens, will receive prizes from tokens that they can use

This is all one sentence. It should be a whole bunch of sentences. And some of it doesn't really make sense. "We want the community to support each other," is confusing. Did you mean people in the community? Or did you mean communities? You need to have something plural there for mutual support.

"so to avoid that people can exceed and get much more out of the token than it should." What? Exceed what? What is "it" in "it should"? I think you may be talking about stopping abuse?

"we would grant a number of tokens to each user that can use weekly" I think this one may just be missing the word "they" between "that" and "can."

I was also confused when the post was suddenly in Spanish for a bit of a paragraph. Why... why would you do that?

I would strongly urge you to edit your work more closely. I always want contributors to do better, and I'm sure you can. But you gotta put in the work.
