Day 12

This is not an ordinary Monday. As I previously shared with you, Monday wasn't too blue for me as my work nature does not require full attention on Monday, but will be busy on Tuesday instead. Today is the first day at work after 3 off day and 2 weekend off day from last week. Work had piled up like a small mountain right infront of my desk. A quick late lunch at Janova for RM10 sharp. Not too bad for the price considering the giant portion, and back to work immediately after the meal. I had to literally struggle through the day and found myself stuck in a miserable traffic jam for almost 2 hours to get home. Had diner with the family and finally sit down to author my post, but again got disturbed by the WeChat channel answering billion of questions. Anyway, still find time to post this, but I guess I'll pass the #dtubesnap today. I really do not wanna present myself in front of the screen with a black face talking nonsense. #22kill push up is all I need to do and vent all the frustration off.

本来我的星期一就是不会怎么忙的。因为我的工作不需要我星期一全神贯注，反倒是星期二需要忙一点的。不过，今天不是一般的星期一，是上个星期放假了三天去泰国玩，然后再加上两天周末假期，今天回到公司看到桌上堆积如山的文件等着我处理，当时心都碎了。忙了一大上午，很迟才有机会到附近的咋诺瓦印度店去吃午饭。十块钱，还是不错的。看看份量和价钱成对比的。吃完后又立刻赶回去工作了一直到下班，继续被车笼堵着差不多整两个小时才回到家。和家人吃饭后回家准备写文章时却又被微信群忽悠了过去帮一下这里，谈一下哪里花了不少时间。今天的#dtubesnap 我就不做了。不想脸黑黑的对着镜头说疯话。#22kill 掌上压才是我要面对的挑战！把身上的怨气全部豁出去！

What is #22KILL

#22KILL is a global awareness program that helps to make civilians aware of the alarming suicide rate among veterans. To support the cause they have created a challenge to do 22 pushups once a day for 22 days. If you would like to get involved then simply do 22 pushups every day for 22 days and then nominated a friend to do the same. You can also donate to the #22KILL cause on their website.

Why is it called #22KILL?In 2012, the VA released a Suicide Data Report that an average of 22 veterans are “KILLED By Suicide” (KBS) everyday. The name “22KILL” is meant to grab people’s attention, because our primary mission begins with raising awareness to the issue. Suicide prevention is a very difficult task to undertake, especially when the general public is unaware of the issue in the first place. In order to prevent or “fix” a problem, one must first learn and understand the problem itself and its causes. By educating ourselves, we’ll be able to identify the triggers that can lead someone to thoughts of suicide, and confront those issues as they come, rather than letting them accumulate into something much worse.
