Symbology series of animals: Butterfly

Hello everyone! I send you a fraternal greeting from this space. Returning to the series of animal symbols, today I bring you the illustration of a butterfly, a delicate animal that attracts most of us.

Butterflies are often indisputably associated with the processes of evolution and change, this association is logically based on the process of metamorphosis that they go through to become caterpillar to butterfly, an attractive allegory for those who do not feel comfortable with some aspect of their life and they desire a forceful change.

In the animal world there are hundreds of different species or types of butterflies, and most of them are characterized by their stunning beauty, it is for this reason that these animals are also associated with femininity and vanity.

But not everything is beautiful, because for some cultures, or simply for superstitious people the color of butterflies has a particular meaning, being the dark colors, the feared and rejected, because they are considered bad omen, presage death or some tragedy, while white represents the opposite, peace, purity and well-being are attributed to it; while bright colors are associated with joy, beauty and spontaneity.

For me, butterflies represent femininity in its maximum expression, denoting delicacy, fragility and a certain calm, I prefer to associate them with good vibes and all positive things.
