"Drawing a Beautiful Fairy" /Contest of ArtUniverse by @Templo
Greetings friends of Steemit!
My entry for the contest ArtUniverse created by @templo giving the opportunity to participate to artists without the language barrier since you can publish in Spanish or English.
My inspiration was a beautiful Fairy surrounded by branches and wooden trunks in the shape of arabesques, leaves and colorful flowers.
I hope you like it!
Materials
- 1 white sheet A2
- Graphite pencil 2H
- Crayons
- Erase
- Pencil sharpener
Drawing process
1. Make the sketch with a 2H graphite pencil that does not mark so hard so as not to interfere with the lines you make after the black marker or black pen.
2.I started making the edges and details a black ballpoint pen.
3. Here to get the shadow of the skin, I apply the violet and brown in the darkest parts and then the skin color in everything. For the eyes I use gray for the shadow, and for the rest of the eye I use the crayons light green and light blue, for the labos orange and pink.
4. In this step, for the back of the fairy I made a background with different shades of green between light and dark apple with the technique of sharpening my crayons and then blur with my fingers.The wings are drawn in different shades of blue and touches of purple and turquoise, for the part that is black of the wings is done with the technique of pointillism to add a touch more delicate. the flowers gave them color in red and orange, others in violet and red and the pistils in yellow.
5. In this step the arabesques that you make in the form of branches and trunks apply an ocher base where you wanted to give more light and then draw everything with a light brown.
6. To finish the drawing, the background I did with the same technique that applies above for the background of the fairy now using the light yellow color.
