😠Whats This Smack Down Kitty All About! Voting Down Self Votes! WTF😠steemCreated with Sketch.

in #steempower7 years ago (edited)

This Smack down kitty relativly new blog with a huge ammount of delegated SP totalling 100000. The aim of the account is to end poeples rewards on self voting? Why? End of the day what has it got to do with Smackdownkitty weather one self votes or not?

If the steemit platform didnt want you to do this surely they would remove this option! So I and many, many others have been down voted on self voted comments as this person doesnt like it!

Some people need to self vote to build there SP balance up. I also do this to get my statements noticed. I can vote on a blog and self vote and my vote can jump straight to the top, this is a perk of having invested money, time, effort in the platform only to have this take away by a whale.

This selfvoting is not a bad thing so what are the issues! I might just power down and take myself off the platform.

It makes me angry that steem provides this option how can somebody just take it away because they are not a fan of it?

I mostly agree with you, but I think, even if the majority wanted to remove self voting from the platform, it would be a larger task than flipping a switch or pressing a button.

I'm pretty indifferent toward self voting and don't upvote myself often, but it doesn't really seem right having somebody walk around with an eraser. On the other hand, who am I to want to take that eraser away? Surprisingly, the more I think about this, the more conflicted I become.

Hopefully if this becomes widespread enough to require it, the community will be able to make a decision without creating a rift between the two sides.

Thanka for your important view. It is a voting platform at the end of the day. whag is the point in having a fair ammoung of steempower if you can no reap the rewards when you wish to!

This element is down to user preference no somebody who has a different view in it!
