Golden State Warriors: a fallen Dinasty? |
The Golden State Warriors are the last, in chronological order, of the many NBA dynasties .
Many are willing to bet that this will be the year of the fall of the Warriors empire after 5 consecutive finals and 3 rings won with merit.
It couldn't last forever and yet for five years the Warriors always gave the feeling of being invincible and immortal.
There are, however, too many signs that this may indeed be the first year without finals after a lustre of success.
In the summer, the separation from Kevin Durant, a key man for Golden State and considered a top 3 in the league, was consumed, consensually and without drama.
Klay Thompson suffered a nasty injury a few months ago, an injury that will keep him off the field at least until the next playoffs.
The Warriors' sixth all-time man, also mvp of the first fantastic NBA ring, Andrè Iguodala, greeted everyone.
DeMarcus Cousins joined the Lakers, except for a serious injury a few weeks ago.
Willie Cauley Stein and D'Angelo Russel have arrived, 2 excellent youngsters who still have a lot to prove and above all will have to be tested in the coach Kerr system.

Pasan los años, pero Balù, el osito de la bahía, nunca se rinde y si juega con la motivación adecuada y la concentración adecuada, puede llevar a cabo grandes ambiciones para sí mismo y para el equipo.

Non poteva durare per sempre eppure per 5 anni i Warriors hanno sempre dato la sensazione di essere invincibili ed immortali.
Troppi sono, però, i segnali che lasciano presagire che questo possa essere davvero il primo anno senza finals dopo un lustro di successi.
In estate si è consumato, consensualmente e senza drammi, la separazione da Kevin Durant, uomo fondamentale per Golden State e da molti considerato un top 3 della lega.
Klay Thompson ha subito un brutto infortunio pochi mesi fa, infortunio che lo terrà lontano dai campi almeno fino ai prossimi playoff.

DeMarcus Cousins si è accasato ai Lakers, salvo infortunarsi gravemente poche settimane fa.
Sono arrivati Willie Cauley Stein e D'Angelo Russel, 2 ottimi giovani che però hanno ancora molto da dimostrare e soprattutto dovranno essere testati nel sistema di coach Kerr.
Come se non bastasse, a questi fattori endogeni si vanno a sommare fattori esogeni ai Warriors.
Nella conference si sono rinforzate molte squadre e tutte lo hanno fatto per poter ambire alla vittoria finale.
I Los Angeles Clippers con la coppia Leonard - George si piazzano in cima ai pronostici.

In tutto questo marasma di contender non dimentichiamo Denver, capace di vincere la regular season lo scorso anno e in piena corsa per ripetersi.

Qualche cents potremmo scommetterlo anche su Portland e ovviamente su San Antonio.

La verità è che colui che potrà provare a tenere altissima la tensione agonistica ed il livello Warriors è Draymond Green. Gli anni passano ma l'orsetto Balù della Baia non molla mai un pallone e se giocherà con le giuste motivazioni e la giusta concentrazione potrà portare avanti grandi ambizioni per se e la squadra.

Difficile pensare che la squadra più forte degli ultimi 20 anni possa arenarsi al punto da non raggiungere i playoff. Visto il rebuilding, le assenze e la forza delle competitor la più plausibile conclusione è che i Warriors possano raggiungere i playoff e vincere il primo turno per poi fermarsi di fronte ad una Losangelina o i Rockets.

Die Wahrheit ist, dass Draymond Green derjenige ist, der versuchen kann, die Wettbewerbsspannung hoch und das Warriors-Level zu halten. Die Jahre vergehen, aber Balù, der kleine Bär der Bucht, gibt keinen Ball auf und wenn er mit der richtigen Motivation und der richtigen Konzentration spielt, kann er große Ambitionen für sich und die Mannschaft verfolgen.
