AN ENTRY FOR @STEEMPH'S CONTEST | MY FAVORITE KOREAN STAR IS "LEE MIN HO"

I am back to share to you guys something about me. Apparently, @steemph hosted a contest, the contest is about writing about your Favorite Korean Star. When I found out that it is going to be about my favorite korean star, there is only one Actor that came into my mind and I have decided to join the contest.

Today's generation has been influenced by the Korean culture. Filipinos, specially the younger generations, have embraced their culture with open arms. From the way the Koreans dresses, their foods, music, and of course, Korean movies.
I, myself, also enjoyed it too. But what I really enjoyed most is the Korean Movies. And of course, I also have my favorite Korean Star which is LEE MIN HO.

Actually, this artwork was requested by my girlfriend @aboutart. She joined last week's contest which was about our Favorite TV Series. And for this week's theme, she wanted to join again and wanted to also talk about Lee Min Ho. I said NO! Lee Min Ho and this week's theme is mine! Hahahaha!

Who is Lee Min Ho?

Lee Min Ho is a 31-year-old South Korean Actor, Model, and Singer. He started his career in the year 2006.
But at that same year, his acting career was put on hold because of a serious car accident that led him to a coma for a month and be bedridden for almost a year. He was with his best friend, Jung Il-Woo, when the incident happened. Jung suffers concussion and brain hemmorage. While Lee Min Ho had bone fractures in his right thigh and right ankle, and torn cartilage in his right knee. That's why he never use his right feet whenever he performs some action acting. It is also the reason why he served as a Public Service Worker at Gangnam-gu Office to fulfill his Basic Military Training in 2017.
Lee Min Ho's breakthrough in his career happened in year 2009 when he plays the lead role of Gu Jun-pyo in the series Boys Over Flower. He won different awards for his acting such as Best New Actor, Best Drama Actor and many more.
After the hit series, he started to play as lead role in different movies and series.
In 2012, he is crowned as the FACEBOOK KING for reaching 5 Million Facebook Friends.
In late 2016, he played his last lead role in the hit series Legend of the Blue Sea before he served his basic military training in 2017.

So what's special about Lee Min Ho?

Every actor has their own unique way for their fans to love them. But for me, there are specific reasons why I love him and what makes him stands out among the rests.

Let's start with his perfect handsome face.

Let's admit it, he has such a perfect face, from his eyes, his nose and those perfect curved lips.

Lee Min Ho said that he inherited his looks from his parents. Though Min Ho is aware that he is handsome, he humbly said:

" I will never become a narcissistic just because I'm handsome "

But aside from being handsome, he also has other characteristics that will make you like him more.

His childish acts.

Lee Min Ho is known from being a prankster. He always pranks his co-stars and crews. Park Shin-Hye said:

“He is a real gentleman,
very well-mannered
but still a kid in many ways”

It's nice to know that even at work he always finds way to stay happy and connect with his workmates.

His sleeping habit.

Min Ho grinds his teeth and talks in his sleep. He even sleeps with his mouth open. Even Park Shin-Hye took a picture of him while he was sleeping in a chair. This was on their shooting of The Heirs.

Min Ho likes to sleep a lot. He said that this is his way of getting rid of stress.

A fighter.

One happening in his life that made him a fighter is when the car accident happened in 2006 where he had some serious leg injuries. As you can see on the photo below, he always use his left foot on action scenes because his right foot is not in good condition.

But instead of giving up, he used this time to think and be more motivated to fight and be an inspiration to others and his fans.

Facebook King

Lee Min Ho's connection to his fans is very well-known as he is crowned as the "Facebook King".

He even listens to their advices.

As you can see, Lee Min Ho is special. I am not sure what's his difference among the others, but what I do know is that he is the type of Korean guys that I would want to be friends with...
Or better yet, the one that I would want to marry. 😅

Thanks for your submission. Lee Min Ho is certainly a very well-known and popular guy (especially among fans). You can't go wrong with liking him, that's for sure.
