Steemit Philippines in Project Alinaga's "Music and Arts" this November 21st, in La Salle College, Dasmariñas, Cavite

Remember Project Alinaga's Music and Arts initiative last September in Caloocan City?

Well, Steemit Philippines and @flabbergast-art still have got something on our sleeves before our Year End Party, so reign your horses while we do another charity event for this year 2017. From what i've heard in the grapevine, this won't be the last for this year.

On that day...

Two sessions will be done as there will be 2 groups for the whole day. Education college students will have their "Music and Arts" session in the morning, this includes their professors in attendance. Steemit Philippines' members and volunteers will be pitching the platform in a bid to showcase and market Steemit and on what it can bring to each of the students/professors that are present.

The afternoon session will have 80 out of school youth in attendance. And aside from music and arts training, Marlon will be teaching crafts like functional sculpture, making candle holder/picture frames made of plaster of paris, making beads/necklace/bracelets using epoxy. Perhaps, these may provide them a bit of an income in the future, depending on how diligent they will be.

STEEMIT WILL SURELY PLAY A PART.

Although, La Salle College is one of the top private schools in Metro Manila, the platform can offer the students a place where their work will be recognised, with not so much focus in the monetary gain rewards. Where else in the Philippines or in the world can they find a social media like Steemit? It have so much to offer to anyone, regardless of social status that people may have. Of course, it is very much beneficial to a talented person who is in need financially, although it might not happen immediately.

But it is a venue.

This is a reminder for all of our volunteers who are coming for this event as complete names need to be given to the school's administration for the purpose of certification and the needed gate passes to get in for that day. The school will provide all materials needed, and Steemit Philippines will provide snacks to the out of school youth in the afternoon. Palabok, fried chicken and shanghai anyone?
