Community Thursday with @SteemPh

in steemph •  17 days ago

Greetings to all the lovely communities!

It is an honor to welcome you to Steemph’s Community Thursday.

Thank you so much to everyone who never gets tired to give a helping hand to the people who need it the most. You didn't let your personal problems to prevent you from doing something good to your brothers even though you are also having financial difficulties. People may tend to forget you but there is someone in Heaven that will watch over you. He will always remember your generosity and kindness.

Here are the simple guidelines for curation:

  1. Minimum 300 words or 3 stanzas.
  2. Minimum 2 pictures. Must be credited if not original.
  3. Must be at least 90% original content with sources clearly credited. 100% Original content preferred.
  4. With the exceptions of Tuesday Community Competitions & Thursday Community Outreach Day. All posts must be tagged #SteemPh to be eligible for curation.
  5. Posts must not be more than 4 days old.

We will be curating SteemPh wide across all the hubs and using @SteemPh.Trail to upvote suitable posts. If a post already received an upvote from the trail, it cannot receive another.

But wait, there’s good news!

Since my column is about the Community Outreach, everybody has the chance to be featured. What does it mean? I have the privilege to choose from other countries aside from my very own motherland (which is the Philippines).

Another thing is that there’s no required limit on your post payout, so those who already have a high post payout can still have the chance. But of course, we must give way for community posts that are not earning much.

All topics about helping the community and the people are wholeheartedly welcome.

There are no colors, races, and nationalities; we are all God's children. Let’s support one another and never leave each other behind!

Come on, Let's start!

@EcoDesigns Trainees and Earth Rangers learn how to make Pillows from textile waste

Author: @thegreens

The trainees of @ecodesigns and some members of the Earth Rangers of the Steemit Action Summer Holiday Program, SASH-Program have acquired skills to make different designs of pillows from textile waste as well as made some special pillows for kids. The training which focused in the production of pillows from textile waste was attended by 17 trainees of @ecodesigns and Earth Rangers. They were trained to make special pillows for children because there are no children pillows in our local markets...

Who loves both the Mother Earth and the children? @ecodesigns and Earth Rangers proved it, a brilliant idea to make pillows out of textile waste. They are not only reducing the amount of textile pollution; they are also helping the poor families to have a comfortable sleep in the most affordable way!

It was recently announced that #thealliance would be absorbing the charity organization called You Are HOPE. For those that are unfamiliar, we here in the fam have been supporting them for quite some time and since the vast majority of people that associate and help with @youarehope are in The Alliance, it was a natural fit. @sircork made the announcement on the last witness chat on @ramblingradio and [made it official in this post](https://steemit.com/youarehope/@sircork/important-youarehope-foundation-announcement---huge-growth-oriented-change-occurring).

For those who are not yet updated, @thealliance already absorbed the @youarehope and they are now knocking on every kind-hearted soul to help about gathering funds for their projects. A simple post per week with proceeds going to their "Community Chest" can make a big change to the lives of the less fortunate!

Update on Preparation & Production of Exercise books and other writing materials in Ghana.

Author: @girlsfoundation

Let me begin by expressing my utmost gratitude to the leader of this noble foundation, @faetee who in her selfless nature brought this project to be. It has been one of the greatest things that have happened to the people I have purposed in my heart to make great impacts in their lives with steem. That is women. They are a very special creature that they can never be substituted with any other thing. Hence the need to empower and give girls and women the needed attention in our society.

It's indeed a blessed day to Ghana because the @girlsfoundation is extending the humanitarian activities to their country. If you look closely at the design of their writing material, you will notice how did they effectively raise awareness about the Steemit world. May the Lord continue to bless them!

Humanity still exists. Let’s grab each other’s hands; wonderful things can be achieved.

Thank you for including @YouAreHOPE and #TheAlliance mentions in your post. I love the steemph community and constantly hold your discord up as an example of a region pulling together and doing it right. I mention it to new community leaders forming other country specific communities ALL the time. My visits there have always been warmly welcomed, fun as heck and super friendly. The charitable work you all do together is admirable and a good role model all around as a group.

Keep it up!
