Walk of Hope (WOH) : Learning Still Life
In my latest update of @walkofhope, I mentioned here where last wednesday, we have started another workshop, involving kids ages 6-14 years old. Halved into 2 groups with 8 sessions each, I have queried Marlon aka @flabbergast-art on what have the Department of Education had to say.
With 16 sessions all in all, the length of time can be an added hours to their schooling. Much better to include in their curriculum if possible.
And WHY NOT?
Abroad, this sort of learning is normal. Schools are equipped and have manpower in its' implementation. In the Philippines, this will be pricey. Or perhaps it's only offered in private schools? In bigger cities?
Am sure, this will be applauded by parents who can't afford as such. And for kids who got talents, they will remain hidden till they will be given a time to rediscover themselves in the future.
FOR NOW, A SUMMER WORKSHOP.
See how they are.
Thursday to Saturday
Learning Still life
It took more than a day for me to realise the meaning of the centre table and the cups in it. Actually, @flabbergast-art buying one each of fruits made me wonder why so few? I asked him stupidly if he'll going to make the kids SMOOTHIES! But still, he will need more than those he bought.
Duh.
The kids' works will have a space where Tatay Dagsa's ART SPACE is or till a better place will be provided or become available.
In action.
Our future artists in the making.
With loads of energy left for the day, Marlon was requested to do another show for Bayawan last Friday. This guy doesn't know how to say NO.
In lieu of Steemit Philippines' mission to PROMOTE THE PLATFORM THROUGH IT's CHARITY INITIATIVES, this Tour is just starting its' journey of bringing Music & Arts to the underprivileged Filipinos in Visayas and Mindanao. @flabbergast-art, together with Tatay Dagsa and other creatives will bring this to fruition, funded by STEEM and as a dollar goes a long way in the Philippines, our/your SBDs/STEEMs have made this happen.
This post' payouts will be used to buy art materials and snacks for the kids as there's more 12 sessions left for this workshop. We at @steemph and @walkofhope Family want to thank everyone for your support.

:) I want to do something similar here in Venezuela, but it will have to wait until I get a bit more of an income. I love these outdoors art workshops.
At first, I thought that the black thing in the center was a disguised person sitting in a weird way 😂😂 (second picture)
Haha that was worst than mine lols
If u don't know @bifilarcoil ..he posted about what we want to do to help Venezuela. @gabyoraa also will be involved.
For now, we are reaching as much as Venezuelans that we can and perhaps, together, we can help.
Yeah! It would be nice to set the project going together. <3 That would give us more power than individually.
We thought so..are u on discord?

I can't find you. The name might be misspelt. What server are you in? If we are in the same server it would be easier to find you.
