@steemph.negros joined #walkofhope project, Bamboo Planting

It was an opportunity to be part of (WOH) walk of hope project, which is one of it is the bamboo planting. This movement was headed by @flabbergast-art together with tatay dagsa, sir jude and the rest of dagsa team. The purpose of this bamboo planting, is to produce more bamboos for the Walk of Hope art project that includes of making art works that are made of bamboos and as well as for the future use.

This advocacy helps Bayawanons to promote their craft arts and as well helps them to improve their tourism industry, thanks to walk of hope (@flabbergast-art) and mam @immarojas for unending support.

These are the art works made of bamboos, Dagsa team together with the walk of hope they will enhance and develope this craft into something better.

This is the place where bambike are made. As of now, the production of bambike made a history where only in Negros Island, Bayawan was known where bambike are made.

Giant crabs made of bamboo. These is one of the unique artworks made of bamboo as one of the products that they are pushing through.

Wine holder with unique art drawing by@flabbergast-art. This craft is one of their massive production for sale.

Ready for polishing ad for final retouching. Out of many bamboos artwork, i believed wine holder are their best selling products.

This project is truly in need of massive supply of bamboo’s. In order to continue this project without importing or buying bamboos from other places, Culture and arts lead by Sir Jude, Dagsa team, walk of hope and @steemph.negros and @steemph helping together to make this project possible by planting bamboo.

Bamboo Sprouts are ready for planting

It takes 3 years to become full grown and ready to harvest.

There are around 100 sprouts of bamboos planted in Cabagal area, inside Cabangal National High School. It is a perfect place to grow the bamboos and for easy access to monitor the growth and developement.

Witht the help of dagsa team and @steemph.negros where one of the representative was @jezmacher and me, we sucessfully planted the sprouts under sir Jude command.

There are about 15 people are helping together for a bamboo planting uncluding the small kiddos who helps us carrying the sprouts and put it in place.

This initiative is truly a valuable act of kindness towards the community. In behalf of @steemph.negros we would like to thanks walk of hope, @flabbergast-art,Tatay and dagsa and team and @immarojas for giving us the opportunity to be part of it.

We end up planting around 4 pm, everything was all set and good. All sprouts are ready to grow and we will see them after 3 years for the harvest.
