SteemPH UAE Meet & Greet 2: Important Updates Plus Dubai Meet & Greet Initial Info
Hello Steemit! Hello UAE!
From my last post annoucement the other day, the @steemph.uae leads had a follow up meeting last night to tackle more details for the upcoming meet and greet.
Last time it was suggested that we have an outdoor gathering to take advantage of the still good weather. However, the proposed date (April 28) is still a month to go and the temperature will surely go up by then. Further, outdoors will not be conducive to do presentations/discussions which of course, we must have. So we need to scrap the outdoor event idea for now.
Here's what we have discussed tonight. As usual, we are open to suggestions and comments.
Proposal
It has been agreed that the Second Steemit Philippines (UAE) Meet and Greet event shall happen on April 28 (Saturday)

You are also encouraged to bring along with you a friend so we can share with them what steemit is and how this different it is from other social media platform.
Much as we would like to make this a free event as last time, we will have to collect Dhs 25 registration fee per attendee. You can transfer SBD 3.5 to the @steemph.uae account to confirm your slot Memo: Meet & Greet or pay cash at the venue.
Dubai & Northern Emirates: UPDATE!
Heads up, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman peeps! We have tentatively set the Dubai Meet up to be on May 11 (Friday). We are just finalizing the venue. This will be shared to you in no time. In the meanwhile, just make sure you clear your calendar for this exciting meet up! 😉
