Day 132

Since the PH remained steady (didn't have time to test the carbonate hardness), I moved the 2 froglets out of the 10 gallon tadpole tank and into the froglet section of the 20 gallon tank, this leaves 13 remaining in the 10 gallon tank. I then moved the largest froglet into the juvenile section of the tank as a safety precaution for the newly arrived froglets, leaving 6 froglets and 24 juvenile frogs in the 20 gallon tank. I also decided to move the tank divider in the 20 gallon tank to give the juvenile frogs more room since they're larger and there are so many more of them than the froglets.

To my pleasant surprise, the new carrier arrived today, and a full day early to boot! I'd need to purchase two to carry all of the juvenile frogs, however, the 5 gallon tank is still intact enough that I can get away with using it for transportation purposes so long as I don't try to fill it with water. Unlike the 3 gallon holding tank, the crack on the side doesn't extend all the way to the bottom. The new carrier is more comparable in size to the 3 gallon tank, though is still smaller. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd estimate the capacity of the carrier at around 2 gallons of water. The care in packaging, despite the product being only $5, it arrived in better packaging than the more expensive 5 gallon holding tank. The holding tank was wrapped in bubble tape and each transparent plastic part of the tank was wrapped in clear plastic during shipping. While the plastic sides do seem thinner on the new carrier, given the decreased fluid storage volume potential they still seem fully capable of storing water without any structural issues arising.

Current Totals:

13 - 10 gallon (Tadpole Tank)
30 - 20 gallon (Frog Tank) [6 froglet, 24 juvenile]
