Life goes on
through changes large and small
it's seen it all
and will again
the best the worst
the world can give
is nothing new
is nothing new
perhaps, perhaps
we've seen it too
in different skins
with different hues
in different times
and yet the same
problems roll around
(and 'round)
and back again
like this ball of rock
we call the ground
our home
our cage
our plight
our stage
as life goes on
and all things change
