RE: Steem.Ninja - Increased Security and Account Recovery
Only the public keys are now sent to our server
Yours? I hope there's no way by which a compromise on the same will reveal the stored data, keys.
Hi @murathe,
public keys are always public for everyone. https://steemd.com/@murathe
Even if our server would get compromised that would have no effect on your Steem account.
Furthermore we do never receive any of your credit card details.
From the official Stripe documentaion:
Source: https://stripe.com/docs/quickstart#collecting-payment-information
None of these informations is stored on our server. It is securely stored on stripes own infrastructure.
Previously the keys were generated on our server but never stored.
Well, that sounds pretty much secure. I'll be taking my first move soon on a friend's Ac and get to meet the process in person. Thanks.
