Steem Monsters Beta Index and My Thoughts 1-31-2019

Another Steem Monsters season has ended and I hope you did well. On my families 2 accounts we got 76 end of season reward cards. Would have loved to said I got great cards but I got a lot of commons and rares. Still happy with what I got just a little disappointed that not a single gold card was gotten.

My main 5 strategies:

The next strategy is focusing on the daily quest reward cards. This is a great strategy for those that don't want to take chances buying packs and/or don't want to sink lots of money into the game. It will also help to have all your summoners at level 4 or higher.

The drawback to this strategy is the low value of most of the commons and some of the rares. You will also need to be able to do the daily quest for each splinter as you will need lots of the reward cards. It would also help to be able to get to Gold 1/Diamond 3 level to maximize end of season rewards.

Selling is the biggest part of this strategy along with some luck as you will need to hit a few epic and legendaries each week. By selling the high dollar cards you can buy the cards you need (most likely beta).

UPDATE: I wrote most of this a couple weeks ago. Well, the common reward cards have gone lower which really makes this strategy almost impossible now. I think now I would combine this strategy with #3 buy/sell as the

Each rarity level has their own index score and is calculated by taking the current value of all cards in the rarity level and dividing it by the total value of the rarity level on Jan 17th, 2019. The result is the percentage change of the rarity level from the index inception point.

Beta commons index 95.71 small upward trend over last 4 days

Beta rare index 113.30 steady to small upward movement summons leading the way

Beta epic index 93.50 steady

PREDICTION: Number of packs available on Jan. 31st will be 505,985. We smashed that prediction, not surprised though as the Steem Monsters community is very passionate about the game.
