Steem Monsters REXXIE !
Lately I've been making this kind of drawings for my 4 year old son, trying to catch his attention into art and he definitely has shown interest into coming up with his own way of creating artworks. But that's another post's talk! Let's show you all how I made this fun Rexxie from the Steem Monsters game!
Creating this sketch was super fun but still a challenge. Making sure to give proper attention to this monster's anatomy, posture, etc. I was pretty happy with the outcome. What do you guys think, does it look cool already?
I'm not too used to come up with comics or a new school drawing technique, but I must say, although I'm not experienced on the subject I found some ways to learn how to sketch faster and with better proportions, everything for the sake of the art and its way to let your motivation and overall creativity flow.
Outlines, and outlines! My worst nightmare. This time I took it lightly, because right now I don't have a set of colors or any ink nor tools that hold it, not even a pen lol. But I used this color pencil that I think at least served its purpose, to outline Rexxie's shape, silhouette and some extra details.
The fun part, to colour everything and make it look appealing enough. I feel I need to apologize for not having the entire set of color pencils, and had to improvise with a bit of watercolor, I'm sure you will notice where I did it. I will try to buy more tools to be able to create even better stuff. Again, very sorry!
I always keep a track of my progress, and now with the implementation and correct use of blockchains, I can keep a better record of what I do and to even share what I was thinking and doing by the time I posted this. You're always welcome to my blog. Cheers!
