Steemmonsters the Game that can change it all

What is up Steemians!

SteemMonsters is an up and coming game out on the Steem blockchain. Offering a card based RPG style game allowing you to level up your cards and battle friends. Adding a different dimension than just a normal turn based style card game that real life paper card games like Magic: the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, or the Pokemon Trading Card Game and online games like Hearthstone. The game is set to be more of an automatic turn based style game where the cards battle each other based on their stats and their level, where instead of a drawing your cards and playing them, you set a battle formation for your cards and they will do the battling. Will your cards stand up to the best of the best?

Coming from a background of actually playing many different card games such as Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: the Gathering, I saw this game as a new different kind of card game with different mechanics that can grow and change with time. The different mechanics and the battle / tournament aspect of the bring out the competitive card player in me wanting to be able to battle with people and learn strategies that out beat other players strategies.

With the varying mechanics , stats, abilities and cast of characters in the game provides multiple different scenarios that can occur. Each battle can be different with all the moving parts that this game has to offer. All the endless possibilities in battle against your friends or foes based on your cards at the tip of your hands. Sounds cool right. Gameplay is still in development but is coming soon...

So what you can do now though is head over to steemmonsters.com and get your starter pack now. Check out their marketplace and get some cards there as well. All Alpha packs have been sold out, but Beta packs are coming around the corner. If you really want some Alpha cards, the first edition cards, check out the kickstarter here where you can support the project and pledge of an amount that provides some Alpha Packs (the only way to get Alpha Packs now). Just grab your cards and wait to a little bit to play this much hyped game, I for one bought a few packs and can't wait to actually play this game when it finally is released.
