Hedging against declining crypto prices with Steem Monsters?steemCreated with Sketch.

With the bloodbath in the crypto markets over the last few days, I've been looking for opportunities to pick up some bargains. I'm waiting to pick up some more Steem at these bargain prices, and also some Steem Monsters cards.

In my opinion, Steem Monsters cards are a good buy at the moment for several reasons. Due to the fact that cards are valued in USD, it serves as a hedge against declining crypto prices. The drop in crypto prices are also leading to many people selling out on their Steem Monsters cards. Combined with the fact that free booster packs for season 2 rewards were given out a couple of days ago, prices for some beta gold cards have been dropping a lot. So, if you have some spare crypto lying around, in my opinion this is a good time to scoop up some SM cards, especially some beta gold cards.

In case you haven’t yet checked out Steem Monsters, it’s not too late to get started and join in the fun. You can go here to get started. The $100 daily tournaments will be coming very soon, so be prepared.

If you have a Steem account created before 12 July 2018 with a reputation of at least 30, you can claim $5-$160 worth of Byteball tokens By downloading the Byteball wallet here, and following the instructions in this post.
