@malricinferno Reviews Steem Monsters Card Stats - Kobold Miner
A big update came out for Steem Monsters recently! Now we can see what stats all of our favorite monsters have!
I will be sharing my first impression of the these stats, starting with the common fire cards. Let's take a look at the Kobold Miner today.
Kobold Miner
Mana Cost: 2
Base Stats (lvl 1)
- Attack: 1
- Speed: 1
- Defense: 0
- Health: 3
- Skills: Sneak
Max Stats (lvl 10)
- Attack: 4
- Speed: 2
- Defense: 0
- Health: 7
- Skills: Sneak
The Kobold Miner is a low mana cost assassin type charater. He has one ability called sneak which allows him to attack the back row of monsters on the enemy team.
His attack is moderate, speed is low, and health is high. With the low mana cost, he should be a great choice for beginners or low mana cost fights.
He may seem a bit underpowered compared to other common cards, but don't forget that his mana cost is only 2. There is only one other common card with a mana cost of 2, the haunted spider.
I hope you enjoyed my first impression of the Kobold Miners's stats. Once we review some more cards, hopefully we can start building some teams!

Hi @malricinferno, I'm curious about your opinion of this card, do you think this one could be played at competitive levels in red teams?. I think that could be useful, like the haunted spider or the undead priest, as you said there are few mana 2 options.
We will have to see if there is limited mana cost in certain fights, which I think is possible.
Yabapmatt commented that he was thinking in start the battles with 20 mana cap, which is quite low, in that case these cards of low mana cost should be valuable.
