SteemMonsters Tournament
Always very lucky with @travelgirl and @wilhb81 Steemmonsters tournament. Won the second time and earned another 40SBD, thanks guys!
Most of these tournaments are Single Elimination, Best of 1, knockout format. Lots of luck is needed especially when matched with equal strength opponent. There is also a higher usage of neutral and rewards cards, glad to see those new cards in action. With almost a hundred cards in Steemmonsters now, there is an unlimited combination of teams. Using the original splinter cards is not enough anymore. I noticed many of the good players are using a wide variety of different cards, from neutrals to dragons, and the new rewards cards. Lord Ariantus is surprisingly strong and difficult to deal with. Hydra is a beast at bronze and silver. Flame Imp swiftness adds that extra speed in Melee Mayhem that shuts your opponent down in the first 2 rounds.
So, instead of just concentrating on a few splinter, you should diversify and invest in different cards. No need to aim for high level, just enough for silver or gold league is good enough.

Meanwhile have you heard about this tournament as well....its ethereum based and you don't need to spend a dime. Its a strategy game and this is just their second tournament.
