SteemMonsters - Rising up through the ranks !!

I'm still building my deck, slowly but surely. I made it (briefly) into the Diamond I league so will be getting 80 reward cards at the end of the season but getting to the Champion league is going to be a struggle unless I max out my summoners and at least a few of the rare and epic cards (particularly those that get a attack increase at max level). I swapped my level 3 Alpha Selenia Sky for a maxed beta version about a month ago but still need to level up my dragons if I want to compete with the big boys.

All of my rare monsters are at level 7 and none of them see an increase in attack level when they are maxed but quite a few of the epic monsters do so I think I will concentrate on maxing them out starting with the Fire Demon to give him a ranged attack power of 4 which increases to five when summoned by my maxed Selenia.

I picked up a few of the new Flame Imp reward cards from completing quests and have bought enough from the market to take him to level 5 which unlocked the swiftness ability (increases all friendly monsters speed by 1) which I think could come in handy. I played a couple of games with him and so far so good.

I also quite like look of the the new Vampire card. I'm not sure how useful it will be but since it's another monster with a ranged attack it will be even more useful when summoned by Selenia. It only has 1 health to start with but uses the new 'Life Leech' ability which gives it a health increase each time it successfully hits an opponent (and reduces their health). It's relatively cheap on the market so I bought enough to take it to level 6 which unlocked the flying ability which will help since it has such low health.

I really need to start making daily posts and taking advantage of my maverick SteemMonsters upvote. I said this about 10 days ago when I last posted but it really is silly of me not to at least post a couple of lines, even if it is showing what cards I got from completing the daily quest. I could have bought a few dragons by now to level them up !

I love SteemMonsters and the more I play it the better it gets.
