Some of the rewards cards on Steem Monsters are pretty awesome.
The more rewards cards come out, the more surprised I am by how much they are increasing the enjoyment of the game for me.
Right now I am definitely most intrigued by the Goblin Mech.
Being a neutral card means that you can use it with any deck. It is a very nice tank that, while expensive at 10 Mana, has four attack power and piercing right out the gate. At level six it gains stun. It also has a nice amount of health.
There are also several nice magic cards of higher Mana as well, such as the Phantom Soldier for the death deck, and the Naga Fire Wizard for the fire team.
Add a few sweet legendaries like the Sacred Unicorn, Lord Arianthus, and you've got a really nice selection of cards.
Newer cards keep coming out all the time as well.
One of these is another neutral card called Prismatic Energy which, while being only a rare card, is selling at the very high price of $1.80.
I was really hoping to get one of those today but I did not get one in my Daily Quest. By the way, the Dailies definitely seem harder than they used to, and we are also getting fewer cards, but these cards are much better than they used to be also.
I'm thinking the Death deck and the Fire deck are in line for another awesome card soon. I would really like to see the Death deck get a tank healer, which is something that is lacking on their team.
It's great to see that even though the crypto prices rise and fall, the prices for Steem Monsters have been relatively stable. If anything they have pretty much continuously gone up.
If you're wondering what to do with some liquid Steem and you've got some right now, I would definitely throw some at Steem Monsters.
The Daily Quests are basically free money, and they're definitely a good time.
Don't forget the end of season rewards either.
So if you know about Steem Monsters, but you haven't looked at it a while.... you should go ahead and check out some of the new rewards cards.

Goblin Mech is pretty sweet now that the mana cap has been raised. I find myself without a way to fill up 31/32 mana often.
A lot of cards are getting higher Mana. I think by the time all the reward cards are released there are going to be quite a few high mana ones.
