Steem Monsters Journal: Why I'll Be Buying More Of The New Summoners

They're not cheap, that's a fact. Nor are they guaranteed an instant win in gameplay. But the new summoners are going to be hot, hot, hot.

Why? Because they check almost every box of what a card trader is looking for.

Gameplay Advantages:

1. They add new capabilities that can differentiate the player from his opponent
2. It's relatively difficult to obtain a max level summoner.
3. It's also essential to obtain a max level summoner to compete at a high level.
4. They actually are good, considering each provides at least +1 team ability for 1 extra mana over a starter summoner.
5. There's upside room for increasing mana formats.

Additional Tradeability Advantages:

1. The airdop skewed their rarity, making each even more rare than the typical Beta pack legendary.
2. Summoners are valued greater than monsters for obvious reasons off needing them.
3. These summoners can actually be used to win daily rewards (unlike Selenia Sky unfortunately).

I've maxed out one of each summoner (and spent way too much) already... but don't expect me to stop there. Over the next few weeks I'll be picking off whatever people are willing to sell them for.
