Steem Monsters Season End Rewards and Other Updates - 01/July

How are you doing on this new day of the week?
I am not that good as it was a hectic travel way back from my native.

Steem Monsters:

As you all know, yet another Steem Monsters season ended today and I am fortunate enough to get some Legendary cards contrary to all the previous seasons.

I finished in Gold I level and had 30 cards as part of rewards and here are those cards.

A Legendary BLACK DRAGON, a Legendary RULER OF THE SEAS and a Legendary SACRED UNICORN are the highlight of the rewards this time for me.

Remaining all are common and rare cards and overall, it's one of the best set of cards I received from season end rewards.

We had one unbeaten team as of yesterday and that was India as you all know and we had an India and England match yesterday and that record is gone as hosts beat India comfortably after setting a target of 337 thanks to century by Jonny Bairstow and half centuries by Ben Stokes and Jason Roy.

Indian spinners suffered heavily and it was Mohammed Shami who took 5 wickets for India.

Chasing 338 for win, Indian start wasn't good as they lost KL Rahul early and some patient grinding knocks from Rohit Sharma who eventually scored yet another century and Virat Kohli didn't take them home as the asking rate was always rising and the last few overs played by India didn't yield many runs and eventually India lost by 30 runs.

In today's match, 2 teams which are already out of contention for Semi final birth are contesting.

It's Sri Lanka and West Indies and West Indies after winning the toss are elected to bowl first and must be ruing their decision as Sri Lanka have piled up 321 for the loss of 5 wickets with still 2 overs to bowl.

Hopefully, we will see another Gayle storm today to take on that target Sri Lanka will be setting.
