Steem Monsters - Few More Booster Packs - Other Updates from ICC Cricket World Cup - 28/June

Good Evening, Good Night and Good Morning based on your timings ;).

It's a fresh morning time here in India and I just want to complete my daily blog which I couldn't do yesterday.

Steem Monsters:

I am in the process of bolstering my base cards as I am going thru losses more then wins.

Hence, I brought few booster packs and like yesterday, I am able to get some more nice cards as shown below.

Some gold cards, a Legendary Gold Dragon, a Epic Air Elemental and many Rare cards are part of these booster packs.

As we are approaching another season end, I am confident of getting back to Diamond league and these base cards will go a long way in doing so.

Well, the match yesterday we had between India and West Indies was expected to be a high voltage thriller considering the mightiness of Indian batting and the one of the fearsome attacks of bowling by West Indies.

But, as it turned out, the match became a one sided affair as West Indies were bowled out cheaply chasing India's modest total of 268.

India started of badly after winning the toss and electing to bat first.

Rohit Sharma could only score 18 runs and was given out by third umpire in a not convincing decision as there were not enough evidences of a nick by Sharma.

Captain Kohli and KL Rahul came together to put up a partnership with KL getting himself out on 48.

Kohli top scored for India with 72 runs and completed 20000 International runs along the course.

It was left to MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya when Kohli, Shankar and Kedar Jadhav got out in quick succession.

Dhoni as usual took his time in nudging the balls and took on the bowling at later stage and was supported by Pandya who score yet another quickfire 46 from 38 balls.

Chasing 269 for a win, West Indies kept on losing wickets regularly and Sunil Ambris a replacement player for injured Andre Russel was the top scorer with 31 runs.

With that win, India moved up to second position and is just shy of Australia by one point.

India along this win, maintained their record being the only team to be unbeaten in this tournament.
