Trading Journal Day 22 - Each Day is a Fresh Day
Each Day is a Fresh Trading Day
The hardest thing to master in trading is yourself. Even with the best of systems, there are hits and misses, good days and bad days. You have to get up each morning and treat it with fresh eyes, fresh perspective.
So I got back on the horse today and bought some CLCT.

Open Trades
While everything else about an open trade is established at entry, the ‘stop loss’ order will be adjusted periodically over the life of a trade. The idea is to move the stops at key price points and let the profitable trades keep running.
One more stop adjustments today, marked in bold.

Gain/Loss given as percentage on notional value of trade, with size a percentage of trading account. G/L x Size = % change of account value based on trade outcome. Days Held shows as 0 when a position was opened and closed in the same day (day trade).
Evaluating all position outcomes from Closed Trades, over a large enough sample, could support an approximate calculation of total portfolio return. Actual results may vary.

Broad market recovery. One of the most frustrating lessons to learn is that news and price action are not always related.
Sometimes the dog wags the tail, and sometimes the tail wags the dog.
In this case, I don't really see a specific stimulus. Maybe it's Tim Cook having dinner with the president. Maybe inverted yields spooked bond investors and they moved into stocks. Maybe an algorithm says that n% of the time stocks rebound by y% after a selloff of z% and its buying triggered the bounce.
I have learned that the greater the certainty of the commentator, the less likely they are to be right.
