RE: Introducing Steem Leagues | Earn Steem By Participitating In Steem Based Cricket Leagues | Bidding Team Is Now Only 5 SBD

in #steemleagues7 years ago

Hey, I have a few questions regarding this initiative:

  1. How many overs per game/match?
  2. Why not give an over-by-over update instead of ball-by-ball?
  3. What if 12 teams are not bought? Are funds returned back to bidders or do we wait until all 12 teams are eventually bought?
  4. Are there going to be implementations of extras like wides, no balls etc in the near future? I don't mind the current system but implementing such extras might add a touch of realism.

Thanks For Asking Questions

  1. There will be 20 overs per game.
  2. Ball By Ball updates looks more detailed and give better idea. What if someone needed 6 runs in last over? That would create suspense in ball by ball update.
  3. Funds will not be taken until 12 teams are bought.
  4. Yeah I will implement those features in future.

There will be 20 overs per game.

2062 = 240 comments in 12 minutes since you can only comment once every 3 seconds. You may want to at least take a breather every over. Do something like time.sleep(60) between overs and innings to preserve some bandwidth, these days the frequency of bandwidth issues have been increasing.

I would like to bid the minimum of 20 SBD for a team called 'Hodlers'!

Thanks For Mentioning It I have already thought of that and have followed exact "time.sleep(60)" after each over so there won't be a problem. Thanks for being the first bidder!
