IT'S YOUR GIRL GIFT
People have different definitions of success, some vision success as happiness, some see it as making enough money to cater for their families, some see it as making it to the top of the world.
No Matter what success is to you, if you want to achieve it, then you have to let go of a lot of things. We are going to be looking at some things we are to let go on our way to success. For this post let's talk about pleasures.
Pleasures:Some will say pleasure is happiness, but when you have vision, you realise that pleasures makes you spend money. What kind of pleasure is it? Is it drinking, smoking, there are lots of them. Or you just enjoy splashing cash and having a serious blast, get wasted and do what soever.
when your drive to become successful keeps you awake at night. Your daily routine is reduced to work. No time to waste time. Time is money and very vital. Time lost can't be gained again. Simple pleasures need to be let go. You can't rest till you have made it. There will be time for pleasures when you're drowning in your achievements.
We as humans are always too lazy or weak to go the extra mile. Billionaires will always tell you of how nearly they almost let go. Success will surely come, but question is how long are you ready to work for it.
There is nothing bad in having a good time, but the moments it starts eating deep into your time and resources, then it becomes a serious problem. Keeping focus is a good way of reducing how much we are involved in our pleasures.
On the road to success, pleasures must be dropped and hard work and focus must be embraced. Some pleasures are addictive and cause serious set backs. This is where discipline comes to play. You have to decide if you want to keep being not good enough. Or you want to achieve your goals in life. Let's drop the pen here and reflect on what we've learnt so far.
