Tribalism
You see in my country Nigeria, we are not racist we are tribalist. We dont judge you based on the colour of your skin but from the part of the country you are from.
Parents tell their children how people from other tribes or ethnic groups are wicked so dont get married to them.
Kids, Adults meets people and the first question that pops up is WHAT TRIBE ARE YOU? WHAT STATE ARE YOU FROM. (someone asked me yesterday this very question and i wondered what that had to do with the conversation)
So tells you a story without knowing anything about the character the first thing most of us say is "thats how those people are" yet we are the first to say there is too much hatred in this country(Nigeria) not knowing its our own default nature.
So next time you meet someone new have a conversation without asking the default question.

I like to say at this point that what i wrote here is my OPINION and no matter how valid or invalid, its still an opinion- one of the many ways of looking at an issue.

Nice write up, my dear friend i see from your perspective.

Tribalism is a major problem that needs to be looked into... What annoys me is the one that happens in the same state
