This post was my entry to the Discord spoken world show on Sunday which was hosted by @wolfganag-alpha on a theme of "Emotional strength" which I titled
Going through hardship
Experiencing hell in your home
Relationship falling apart
Stumbling blocks at your place of work
Things not working out academically
Emotional drain becomes evident
Giving up becomes a choice
It's a easy way out
No one will blame you
But you can do better
U will overcome this stage
It's all just a phrase of life
To test your resolve
To make u stronger
To make you mentally alert
mental alertness is key in overcome distress
Tackling issues with emotions
Is a sign of strength not weakness
It means u are human
And being human matters
So when facing obstacles
Wear your game face
Equipping yourself with courage
Not leaving behind your faith
And hope of a brighter day
Knowing that you can scale through
Just by believing in your self
And it worth noting that
Gaining Wisdom and inner strength
Is a byproduct of facing your greatest difficulty
In period of struggles
Only your emotional strength will get you through
Being weak upstairs
Will show in every steps you take
And it won't make U go far
You won't break boundaries
By being emotionally and mentally poor
Being in a place
Due to fear of failure
Results only in revolving in a circle
Even when life becomes harder
And d struggles becomes more unbearable
Not cracking up their
Is the secret of revival
And it will make you scale through
In closing, no one is born weak
Its depends on the choice made
You dictate either to give up
Or whether to keep on fighting
And it all starts with your state of mind.
