Steemit Ultimate Challenge 8 Weeks - Week #5.

Massive shout out to @dobartim for this massive challenge, where we can all share our stories of how Steemit helped us and yet still get rewarded for it. That's a double espresso haha. HOW STEEMIT COMMUNICATIONS CHANGED MY LIFE:

My name is Olawale, popularly known as "Olawalium". I came across Steemit through; @kingsolo. I posted an article on WordPress, and he told me how much he loved it. He asked for my permission to post it on his platform with adequate referencing and i accepted. It yielded him some few $, and when he saw me next, he told me to join, because in his words: "I went through your blog and you have lovely contents". That is how i joined.

LIFE COMMUNICATIONS

Steemit has changed my approach totally, from "once in a while good deeds", to consistently doing it. I view life differently now, with the help of Steemit. I love giving. It is one thing that give me thrills and joy without any iota of regret. I am never about the thank yous, but about the smiles and happiness that can never be expressed and explained in words.

Recently, through Steemit, i was able to reach out to two old men, whom i have been seeing around a lot, but live in a bad state, in terms of feeding and clothing. They are old men, with family and feeding is really hard for them.

With Steemit, through God's help, i was able to get them food items, that should be able to last them for a long while. I recently saw the two of them, and the freshness and ease i saw on their faces delights me. That is my joy.
I still want to do more, i have quite a few of them around and some children who need help. I don't have it all together yet too, but when someone goes to bed, excited, then i feel fulfilled.

Steemit made me understand that, creating value and helping goes hand in hand. It has confirmed my thought about life, which is:

I would rather live for a day and touch many lives, than to live for hundred years, and not be remembered by anyone.

Giving is not giving, until you give to someone who might never be able to repay you.

Life is not just about you, but about the difference you can make and the value you can add. Life is sweet when shared with people...i learned that on Steemit. Everyone is willing to help, reach out, make a difference and leave a mark.

FINANCIAL COMMUNICATION:

Oh! The lure! That was the first thing that lured me here. I needed that additional source of income. I was struggling. I was close to being frustrated and sometimes i lash out when i couldn't get things that needed to be done, done. It was frustrating, and as a man, you couldn't help but feel you are failing. Business was not going as it should, salary not enough to get you through the month, bills and debts to offset...etc. I was close to doubting the whole essence of life. Oh! How i prayed...then come, Steemit.

My finance took a dramatic turn. I am not there yet, but i am way better than how i left off. I could get things done and i am even working on taking the next step in my life. It has been super cool and good. Now, my finance is steady good, and i could do stuffs i have always wanted to do, even though presently, i am still trying to sort out my accommodation, as i need to move to another place, due to the next stage of my life i am preparing for. Oh! Did i say i used Steemit earning to get my proposal ring? Hahaha. It was sweetly sweet. Now, i just need to still tie up some tiny details which i still believe Steemit can help me in achieving, with God's help.

BUSINESS COMMUNICATION:

My business was crumbling. I am also a farmer, and it was so much of a struggle to even feed my laying birds. It was so unbearable and difficult to feed them, that i had to painfully sell the laying birds and use the money to get a specie called, broiler and some pigs. It was still a struggle but manageable, and their feeding wasn't too steep...then, Steemit happened. It became relatively easier to feed them and give them the best condition to thrive. They even got a new house and i am excited about it. I need to get new birds again and also a battery cage for them, so i can feel consoled about those i disposed. It was really painful, as they were already laying eggs. Now, the plan is to get new laying birds to kick start again, but with what Steemit has been doing so far, to kick start my business and to be thinking of expanding, i couldn't be more thankful to God and Steemit for that. This is a massive leap and step up. Thank you.

EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATION:

This has been a new learning curve for me. I have never seen a platform where everything is all inter-twinned, where you learn so much and yet still get paid for learning and doing what you enjoy. With Steemit, i have a wide depth in knowledge in several areas.

Before i joined Steemit, i knew nothing about crypto currencies. I knew NOTHING!!!. It is a whole new experience for me, which was made easier with Steemit, and i really spent a considerable amount of time learning it all. How amazing it is to have learned all of these in just over three months at my convenience and pace.

I have learned so much with Steemit. I have even developed a strong interest for Art works and photography and learning about them, interests me. I have two amazing people for that; @alexandravart and @everlove. I have a new steemian too, @adiathelen. I have learnt so much here on Steemit, about confidence, about life, about spiritual, about value, about impact, about purpose, about cryptos, about different kinds of knowledge, even about arts. Oh, i am finding a new level of learning from @slowwalker with his rich history posts. I have learned so much but learning never stops. I know there are still more for me to learn. @kus-knee is another person i am learning from. I have lot of names to mention. Let me just stop right there...but not without mentioning @papa-pepper. What a man! I wish to get into his head.

He who empties his purse to invest in knowledge is wise.

Steemit is a total package and i am absolutely thrilled to have been affected in these areas of life. Oh! I forgot i am loving and learning more about food. I have @allasyummyfood and @heart-to-heart for that too.
I have so much to say about how Steemit has affected me, but let me just stop right here. I am sure people will still slate me for making another long post. Hahaha.
