SteemiTsCool 3#: Why you should vote or Voting 2.0

Today's lesson is about voting. Your steem power recovers everyday by 20%. So when it is at 100% you, your Steempower stops recovering. Everytime you vote on 100% you your Steempower goes down by 2% of what you got remaining. Here are some examples:

Your Steem Power is at 100% then you vote someone at 100% up. It goes down to 98%, then you vote on someone else 2 % of the remaining it will go down so 96.04% and so on.

You can see how much is your voting worth for other people and you can also see how much money you earned for voting.

Steem Voting is really important in a decentralised society, you help the society to get better, people in Switzerland vote compared to other countries quite often. But even Swiss people are kind of lazy voting.

Only 50% of the Swiss people are voting.

Voting is expensive

Voting is really expensive, so that's is the reason why many countries don't vote often. Switzerland is a rich country. So we can vote pretty often, but made it really efficient to reduce cost. But Steemit made it much more efficient and voters get paid and also the person that made the post gets paid.

If you are not voting, then rules will be made where you didn't participate, then you sooner or later loose your rights. It is not that others ignore you, but it is that you decide not to speak for your rights.

On Steemit everyone is like a shareholder and voting helps you to decide according to the shares you hold, how much influence you get in the voting and you are also deciding about the future of Steemit, in which direction you want it to go.
