Searching

Where is this time
that I crave for so much,
does it hide in the shadows,
fooling me with pretty reflections
projected in my mind.
Is this where my time hides.
Surely I should be the one to create.
the one to hold my hand out
to those who wait patiently at the gates.
Where are my intentions,
that I put forth this spring,
have they sprouted up,
do they even know where to begin.
Do I hold myself back,
by wanting too much,
Me the creator of my reality
of all that I touch.
